Creative Yarns

Our knitting group went on a field trip today to Creative Yarns in Macon, Georgia. Wow! What a great yarn store! They were so nice and so helpful. The store was beautiful. Colorful. Spacious. There was candy and hot tea and coffee. And the yarn. . . I'm almost speechless over the yarn. So pretty. So many textures. So many colors. They were incredibly gracious. Even sending someone over to take a group picture of us before we left. It was an awesome day.
Katy gets her yarn wound.
Julie and Mona knit while they wait on the rest of us to make our purchases.
Pretty yarn and pretty project examples.
That's my yarn on the umbrella.

Mmmmmmm...Malabrigo!
Lacey, Julie, Mona, Katy, Me, Laura, and Tara!
The yarn lady sent us around the corner to a cute sandwich shop, Harkins, for lunch. We got there just as they were getting ready to close, but the two guys working there were really nice and funny, too. The food was really good.
Tara and Lacey waiting for everyone to go to the bathroom so we could leave.
Laura asleep in the car on the way home. Downtown Reynolds, Georgia.
What a fun day. Some of the girls who really wanted to go didn't get to, so we are planning a return trip sometime in the not too distant future. Creative Yarns - so worth the drive to Macon.
